She is a favourite of many and for almost two decades, actress Nana Ama McBrown has worked very hard to remain relevant on the entertainment scene.
Her United Showbiz and McBrown’s Kitchen shows on UTV have also unearthed her talent as a television presenter and made her a force to reckon with in the field.
It is, therefore, not surprising that she has gotten the highest nominations at this year’s Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA). She has been nominated in the Outstanding Woman in Film, Outstanding Woman Brand Influencer, Outstanding Woman TV Personality and the ultimate Outstanding Woman of the Year categories.
The Sidechic Gang actress is facing tough competition from presenter/entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso and actress Joselyn Dumas in the ultimate Woman of the Year and Outstanding Woman TV Personality categories.
Other categories to be awarded are Outstanding Woman Radio Personality, Outstanding Woman Brand Influencer, Outstanding Woman in Agribusiness and Shero of the Year.
Nana Ama McBrown has remained one of the most consistent celebrities in the Ghanaian entertainment scene.
Her talent also extends to singing and she has performed at a number of events and sings regularly on her United Showbiz show.
